Help me feed babies in Africa!

Help me feed babies in Africa!

So, I was on twitter just a few moments ago, and WeAreTHATFamily sent out this tweet:  (Caps are my doing)  FOR THE NEXT 30 HOURS, WE’LL BE SAVING THE LIVES OF ORPHANED BABIES IN AFRICA.  READY.  SET.  GO.

I went to her blog post, and immediately opened up my WordPress dashboard to post this to any and all who might follow my blog (I know… it’s not many, but all tidal waves start with a small ripple… I am happy to just be that small ripple… or as Kristin put it, God just drew a line from her dot to mine.)

If there is ANY way that you can afford to purchase a can of formula – or if you recently received one in the mail like we did (sampler) and don’t have a use for it, please, please, PLEASE send it to this wonderful organization.   In case you missed it in the article – 30,000 children die A DAY due to hunger and preventable disease.  I may not be able to solve a lot of this world’s problems, but I CAN help to feed a child.  So can you.

I am only one, but still, I am one. I cannot do everything, but I can do something. And, because I cannot do everything, I will not refuse to do what I can. – Edward Everett Hale

Here is the address:

[from Dinah: “We will send the formula with work crews and adoptive parents as they go over.  We have shipped close to 400lbs since April but are running out.  Check out the Post Office one price if it fits and see how many cans can fit in a box]

Keep in mind that the formula needs to be milk based, not soy.

If you are local, feel free to drop your can of formula off at my house, and I will ship it.   Comment below and let me know how many cans you can pledge…. and thank you!
